Our history
Best Western Plus Hotel Ilulissat opened its doors in June 2021 and quickly became an integral part of Ilulissat's hotels and tourism industry. The hotel is the result of a vision created by the Bagger brothers from Ilulissat and Jens Salling from Qeqertarsuaq. Their ambition was to create a modern hotel,
that could offer visitors a unique opportunity to experience the spectacular nature
around Ilulissat, while enjoying high comfort and excellent service.
The hotel is built with great respect for the local environment and the unique Greenlandic culture,
and it combines modern architecture with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Since opening, we have welcomed guests from all over the world,
who have visited us to explore Ilulissat's breathtaking ice fjords,
experience the midnight sun and take part in local life.
Behind the vision is a strong team that, with deep roots in the local area, has managed to create a hotel that is both a meeting point for tourists and a proud representative of Greenlandic hospitality.
